About Appeer

Appeer Community Interest Company has been set up to benefit autistic girls and women, as well as those around them, including families and professionals. We are a not-for-profit organisation, led by autistic and neurodivergent women and parents/carers of autistic and neurodivergent daughters.

We provide online and offline groups, sessions, and resources to help girls and women—and those supporting them—connect, share interests, and develop skills. The company is named Appeer Community Interest Company because a positive, peer-based approach is integral to our ethos.

About the Role

Girls' Programme Facilitators help deliver our support programme for autistic girls aged 7–12 on a sessional basis as part of the Social Interest Programme, which provides an interest-based curriculum and peer connections for autistic girls.

Facilitators create an encouraging and inclusive environment where participants can connect, share experiences, and build confidence. We are particularly looking for someone with hands-on experience supporting cooking activities, as cooking is a regular and valued part of the programme.
