Moor Allerton Hall is a caring, happy, three form entry school.
We are looking for two enthusiastic primary school teachers who have a flair and passion for PE teaching to work in Years 3/4 or Years 5/6.
The purpose of these two roles is to develop the provision of PE so that children are taught progressively and have excellent opportunities to excel in PE. The two successful candidates will be asked to work together to develop this from Years 3 to 6.
You will be teaching PE to each class in your phase once a week (in either Years 3/4 or 5/6) for 1.5 hours and the remainder will be spent teaching the national curriculum as directed by the class teacher. The class teacher will take their PPA during this time.
The successful candidates will demonstrate outstanding behaviour management, good organisational skills, a breadth of knowledge of the PE curriculum and a dedication to after school sport provision – it is hoped that the successful candidates will run a number of after school clubs.
