To support our existing business and enable future growth we are seeking an Industrial Placement student to join our SustainmentEngineering team on a 12-month placementcommencingin Sept 26.
Whatyou will do:
1. Working within the site’s 'Quality and Delivery Assurance Clinic', a multi-functional team tasked with independently ensuring the technical compliance of the site’s production output and investigating and correcting any faults affecting delivered product
2. Root cause failure investigations of a number of products during the manufacturing and test processes and products returned from customers, including generating technical reports.
3. Fault-finding electronic equipment
4. Processing and analysing test data to assess product performance as part of the fault diagnosis process
Qualificationsweprefer:
5. Self-motivated, diligent and excited by STEM subjects
6. An interest and aptitude for electronic engineering and production of electronic equipment
7. You will be studying Engineering, Mathematics or another closely related discipline at University and expect to graduate in 2028
8. A keen interest in working within military or civil aerospace
9. Competent in technical report writing and presentations
10. A team player and effective communicator
11. Able to multi-task and prioritise own work
12. Logical approach to problem solving
