Responsibilities
* Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
* Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is collected.
* Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy.
* Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about hotel services and amenities.
* Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
* Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
* Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.
* Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Skills
* Strong guest services orientation with a commitment to providing an exceptional experience.
* Experience of Online booking systems and portals
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are an advantage in catering to diverse guests.
* Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Proficient in using computer systems for reservations and guest management.
