Main Purpose of Position We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Applications Support Analyst to join our SCL IT Team. In this role, you’ll provide both technical and functional support for our business‑critical applications, ensuring they remain stable, secure, and high‑performing. Experience with Aptem LMS is highly desirable, and we’d love to hear from you if you’ve worked with it before. You’ll be responsible for resolving incidents, managing service requests, and collaborating closely with internal teams, end‑users, and external vendors. As a key liaison across the organisation, you’ll help drive continuous improvement and ensure our learners receive an exceptional digital experience across all of our SAAS platforms. Key Responsibilities and Duties Incident & Problem Management: Diagnose and resolve application-related issues within agreed SLAs. Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes. Service Requests & Change Management: Handle user requests for configuration changes, access management, and enhancements. Support application upgrades, patches, and deployments in collaboration with development teams. Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor application performance and availability using appropriate tools. Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain accurate documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. Contribute to knowledge base articles for end-users and support teams. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business units to understand requirements and provide solutions. Liaise with vendors for escalations and technical support. Team mentor for departmental Apprentices The safety and welfare of children is paramount to SCL, all applicants will be subject to thorough background checks to ensure their suitability to work with children. These will include, but are not limited to; reference checks, police checks, DBS checks and qualification checks.
