Job Description Summary

We seek a Senior Product Manager to join our Monitoring & Diagnostics (M&D) portfolio within the Grid Automation business.
This role demands a dynamic blend of technical acumen, creativity, collaboration, and strategic leadership to develop, launch, evolve, and sustain innovative products and systems that address emerging customer challenges and drive mutual success.
Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Vision and Strategy: Define a clear vision and strategy for assigned products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
* Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer needs and opportunities.
* Customer Engagement: Understand customer pain points, needs and desired outcomes through structured research and continuous engagement. Collaborate with customer and internal stakeholders to validate, prioritize and explore solutions.
* Partnership Building: Cultivate relationships with key industry partners and vendors.
* Product Development: Develop and manage product roadmaps, timelines, and budgets.
* Technology Evaluation: Collaborate with R&D teams to assess emerging technologies and identify potential solution partners.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver successful product development initiatives and releases.
* Performance Monitoring: Track product performance post-launch, integrating insights into future development cycles.
* Competitive Analysis: Continuously analyse competitive offerings and market dynamics to drive product innovation and updates.
* Quality and Competitiveness: Enhance the quality, technical, and cost competitiveness of your product portfolio.
* Sales Collaboration: Work with sales teams to establish and maintain key customer relationships, develop go-to-market strategies, and facilitate product awareness and training.
Qualifications / Experience
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
* Advanced and demonstrated years experience as a Product Manager, or significant proven experience in Technical Sales, Technical Support / Service, Technical Project Delivery, or Engineering, that included demonstrable customer facing experience.
* Experience ideally working within area of utility/industrial monitoring solutions, or relevant similar B2B engineered solutions environment.
* Knowledge on project management methodologies for product development (Waterfall, Agile, etc).
Desired Characteristics
* Knowledge and experience of business efficiency and quality improvement methodologies (Lean, SixSigma, etc).
* Strategic thinker with high motivation, innovation, and customer-centric approach.
* Proficient in data-driven decision-making, capable of navigating ambiguity to develop and communicate product strategies that maximise customer value and minimise waste.
* Effective at interfacing with and influencing all organisational levels, both internally and with customers.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
* Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and align stakeholders around common goals.
* Willingness and ability to travel as required.
