Position: Production Planner/Scheduler

As Production Planner/Scheduler, you will have a pivotal role in coordinating production schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and maintaining a smooth workflow in our manufacturing environment. Your expertise will be crucial in aligning production timelines with demand, while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the creation of the master production schedule by reviewing production orders and available resources.
2. Prepare and share daily or weekly schedules that help the manufacturing team stay aligned with customer demand.
3. Monitor workflow and manufacturing progress to adjust schedules in response to equipment failures or material shortages.
4. Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and the delivery of finished goods.
5. Serve as the primary point of communication between sales, customer service, and production to manage order statuses and priorities.
6. Identify potential production bottlenecks and collaborate with department supervisors to implement solutions.
7. Produce clear and accurate reports on production performance, including schedule adherence and delivery metrics.
What you’ll bring:
8. Minimum of 1 years experience in a manufacturing environment, administrative, or coordination role
9. An interest in production planning and a willingness to learn how scheduling supports wider manufacturing operations
10. Proficient in using software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis
11. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
