About the Role as French Teacher:
* Position: French Teacher (KS3 and KS4)
* Contract: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)
* Start Date: As soon as possible
* Duration: Until the end of the academic year
* Responsibilities: Teaching French at Key Stages 3 and 4, including planning, marking, and delivering engaging lessons
About You: The ideal French Teacher will be:
* Qualification: A qualified French Teacher with QTS or equivalent
* Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver engaging French lessons tailored to KS3 and KS4 students.
* Curriculum Delivery: Teach French language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing at KS3 & KS4
* Assessment: Prepare, set, and mark assignments, tests, and exams to monitor student progress
* Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
* Differentiation: Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners
* Student Support: Provide guidance and feedback to help students improve language skills
* Parental Communication: Regularly update parents on student progress and areas for improvement
* Professional Development: Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
* Collaboration: Work with colleagues to plan and coordinate language events and activities
* Cultural Awareness: Foster an appreciation for French culture and traditions within the curriculum
