Be part of this 'once in a generation' project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable load low-carbon electricity.
The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O'Rourke.

What you'll be doing
The purpose of the role is CWA Plant supervisor to oversee the concrete batching plant and ancillary equipment around concrete production, transport and delivery, such as concrete pump or placing boom.
The Alliance concrete batching plant supervisor supervises and coordinates the operations team to provide
expertise on the batching plant and input in order to contribute to the delivery of projects. Draws upon a broad
range of technical mechanical, electrical, PLC, know-how to provide carefully thought-through advice and
expertise to a range of the delivery team. The Supervisor offers innovative solutions at business-unit level for
area of discipline, contributing extensively to development and improvement activities, identifying training and
development opportunities within team to maximise performance.
The CWA plant supervisor with his team would be responsible for overseeing to keep working the concrete
batching plant and ancillary concrete equipment, in collaboration with the operation team and CWA plant
central team, implement maintenance planning, organise maintenance routine, inspection, repair, define spare
parts and manage it stock.
He will be based on site project office in the TCA area and MCA platforms regularly.
He will report to the CWA Main Civil Work Lead, and temporary to the CWA plant leader
The concrete batching plant is one of the most critical plant to keep running to produce concrete, it's essential
for the civil works activity
Who we're looking for
Essential
* Able to work with responsibility and under pressure with critical asset plant.
* Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic breakdown cover, troubleshooting and repair.
Coordination experience with delivery team and pant
* Experience in PLC on industrial installations
Desirable
* Nuclear/license condition experience.
* Experience of managing similar system in civil engineering projects.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* Mechanical, electrical and PLC experiences
* Maintenance plan
* ECS, AP, NCP ,CPCS
* NVQ 3-4
Desirable
* Pneumatic and hydraulic system
* UK major construction experience.
