Teaching Personnel are currently seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools in Wellingborough on a full-time basis, with an immediate start available.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a school environment.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task with the work that has been set. You will manage classroom behaviour, support students where necessary, and maintain a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver pre-set lesson materials across a range of subjects
• Maintain strong classroom management and ensure students stay engaged
• Follow school policies and procedures
• Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons
• Support the overall learning environment within the school
The Ideal Candidate:
✔ Confident managing groups of secondary-aged students (11–16)
✔ Strong communication and organisational skills
✔ Experience working with young people (school, coaching, youth work, tutoring etc.)
✔ A degree is desirable but not essential
✔ Passion for education and supporting student development
