Regional (South) Sales Manager
Field Based – 2–3 Days in the Office
£60,000 – £65,000 (DOE) plus Bonus and Company Car
Manchester Staff is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager to join one of our leading clients. The role is with the UK’s largest Mechanical Services Contractor, providing mechanical and fire products. Job Overview
Drive sales growth within the South geographical region. Responsibilities include:
* Account management and sales performance across all subsectors within the Mechanical Services market.
* Allocation of contractors installing projects across residential, commercial, and riser applications.
* Deliver the sales and margin budget allocated to each account.
* Balance of on‑road and office‑based working.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Target Achievement
* Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with company objectives.
* Set and achieve sales targets, margin targets, and market share expansion.
* Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
Market & Business Development
* Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow market share.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
* Conduct competitor analysis and adjust strategies accordingly.
Customer Relationship Management
* Act as the main point of contact for allocated accounts within the region.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction (>98%) and retention.
* Address customer concerns and provide solutions to meet their needs.
Sales Reporting & Data Analysis
* Analyse sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
* Prepare detailed sales reports for senior management.
* Utilise CRM tools for sales tracking and pipeline management.
