About the Role:
Join us as a General Procurement Buyer, where you’ll take ownership of the People Services and Facilities Management categories, with scope to branch into wider categories. You’ll be a driving force behind strategic sourcing, cost optimisation, and supplier relationship building across the UK&I region.
Partnering closely with stakeholders, you’ll lead regional procurement initiatives and bring Group Procurement strategy to life—balancing timelines, risks, and priorities with finesse. From shaping supplier partnerships to ensuring policy alignment across borders, your work will influence key outcomes and deliver real value.

Main Responsibilities:
You’ll take charge of your procurement category, diving into market insights, supplier capabilities, and cost analysis to shape impactful sourcing strategies. Working side-by-side with the Procurement Manager, you’ll help drive forward our business goals—short, medium, and long-term—by turning data into smart decisions and leading initiatives that bring strategy to life. Always with an eye on compliance, you’ll make sure everything aligns with UK Procurement Procedures and company policies.
You'll be the go-to for monitoring and improving supplier performance, focusing on quality, delivery times, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborating with internal teams, you’ll create detailed vendor scorecards and lead performance review sessions with suppliers, helping keep standards high and relationships strong. You’ll also craft and manage SLAs that set clear expectations and help everyone stay on the same page.
From preparing tenders and briefing suppliers to negotiating contracts and overseeing project delivery, you’ll manage the full procurement lifecycle. As the bridge between UK&I and our global teams, you’ll ensure local actions support global objectives while staying compliant and consistent.
You’ll steer the supplier onboarding process and keep purchase orders flowing smoothly, from initial setup to resolving invoice issues. Working across departments, you’ll handle claims, minimise discrepancies, and maintain clarity and control throughout the PO process.
Who we are looking for:
You’ll need a solid track record of managing contracts and running tenders end-to-end, from preparing documentation and briefing suppliers to negotiating and awarding. Hands on experience with SAP and proficiency using Microsoft tools, such as Excel and PowerPoint, will also be a distinct advantage.
You know how to turn insights into strategy, with expertise in sourcing, supplier relationship management, and implementing procurement systems. You're confident leading complex projects and have a deep understanding of procurement processes.
Strong communication and presentation skills are a must, along with the ability to influence across a global organisation. You lead with purpose, delegate effectively, and build trusted networks with ease.
