We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and inspiring Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join a school community. This is a fantastic opportunity to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sport among students. Starting September 2025.
Duties as PE Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stage 3/4
* Promote health, fitness, and wellbeing through a broad and inclusive sports curriculum
* Organise and lead extracurricular activities, sports clubs, and school teams
* Prepare pupils for sports fixtures, competitions, and events
* Manage resources and ensure a safe environment for all physical activities
* Support pupils’ physical development, confidence, and leadership skills
* Contribute to the wider life of the school and collaborate with staff and parents
Ideal PE Teacher:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* A specialism or strong background in PE and sport
* Experience teaching PE in [primary/secondary] schools (including delivering to mixed abilities)
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills as a PE Teacher.
* A positive, energetic, and professional attitude
* Willingness to contribute to after-school clubs, fixtures, and school trips
