Our new Financial Services client are looking to expand the growing Compliance & Risk team with a Compliance Officer.
The role for Compliance Officer is newly created to support the development of the Compliance framework in this growing regulated business.
Key responsibilities include -
* Providing a Compliance and Risk service, supporting the business to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
* Support the business to ensure all procedures and services are compliant
* Supporting the business in ensuring all relevant regulatory requirements are met
* Engaging with all stakeholders internally and externally
* Participation in and contribute to the wider compliance culture
* Ensuring all compliance breaches are managed in a timely manner
* Acting as 2LD, identifying and monitoring risk
* Supporting the business in meeting the Compliance Monitoring Plan
* Analysing the root causes of any regulatory and procedural breach and to ensure that all remedial actions are taken to mitigate future issues
* Providing support to the wider Compliance team and wider business as needed.
* Ensuring all Compliance Procedures are up to date and relevant.
* To have awareness of the FCA handbook and consumer duty
This role will be perfect for a Compliance Officer with a minimum of one years relevant experience in the FS sector who is looking for an all round Compliance role that has the ability to add value and take ownership while developing their career.
