The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff member.

Ref: 25-294-FSW-FS-WEB

Job Role: Floating Support Worker

Location: Northern Health and Social Care Trust area – Office Base – To be confirmed upon appointment (either Ballymena or Coleraine)

Salary:£27,694 per annum (pro rata)

Working Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm


Service

Cedar delivers a range of services that enable people with disabilities to get the most out of life and be fully included in their communities. Our Floating Support Services are delivered throughout Northern Ireland and aim to ensure that people can remain living independently in their own home.


Role

Providing a Floating Support Service to people who have a Physical Disability/Physical Health Issue, or Brain Injury, who require housing‑related support to develop their capacity to live independently and maintain their tenancy in the geographical area of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.

Note: Personal care is not required for this post.

Essential Criteria

* RQF Level 2 qualification or equivalent (QCF, NVQ, etc.)
* Minimum of one year of paid and/or voluntary experience providing support services to people with disabilities and/or other vulnerable individuals
* Knowledge of the effects of disability and/or other vulnerable groups
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in IT, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
