Management Accountant
£38,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications
Location: Stoke on Trent
We are working with an expanding company looking for a Management Accountant to deliver core management accounting duties. If you have an eye for detail and can work to and achieve key milestones, this is for you.
You will be working as part of an established team assisting with the delivery of accurate and timely financial information, whilst aiding into the development of a proactive culture and robust governance and control environment.
Your role:
* Produce monthly management accounts
* Assist in preparing periodic forecasts and annual budgets
* Produce weekly sales profit and cashflow forecasts
* Ensure all reconciliations are carried out monthly and internal controls are maintained
* Assist in preparing margin analysis on an ongoing basis
* Calculation and analysis of monthly variances for actual / forecast, versus previous forecast
Your background:
* Experience as a Management Accountant is key
* Part or Qualified - CIMA, ACCA, or ACA, or Qualified by Experience
* Proven experience performing similar duties
* Understanding of current UK HMRC financial regulations
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
* Able to work to tight deadlines and to communicate effectively at all levels
* Confident communication skills to build and maintain strong business partnerships
