Could this be your most rewarding role yet?
Become a Lleol (local) Foster Carer with Flintshire County Council
Annual Fee: GBP50,000 + up to GBP13,453.96 in Weekly Allowances
You've built a career supporting others. But have you ever thought about doing it from your own home and truly changing a life forever?
We're seeking passionate, patient individuals with experience to take a significant step—not just into another job, but into a meaningful way of making a difference.
This is fostering— but not as you know it. This is Lleol Fostering.
Lleol means "local" in Welsh, emphasizing the importance of maintaining locality in fostering. Children and young people in and around Flintshire need more than traditional placements—they need time, patience, expertise, and someone who believes in them and will advocate for their best interests.
We are looking for extraordinary people to join us as Lleol Foster Carers, including those with experience as Reablement Workers supporting individuals to rebuild independence and confidence after illness, injury, or crisis. If you've helped people develop practical life skills, navigate emotional recovery, or regain purpose, your transferable skills could help a young person move forward with dignity, safety, and love.
