Building Surveyor Location: Darby Close, Cheney Manor Industrial Estate, SN2 2PN Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 6+ Months Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 39.55 per hour Job Ref: OR10338 Responsibilities Deliver capital and planned maintenance projects for corporate and listed buildings. Prepare briefs, develop design and technical design, and administer construction contracts through to handover and closeout. Engage with customers, tenants, and leaseholders. Prepare feasibility studies, develop new initiatives, and produce detailed specifications and design solutions for modernization and improvement projects. Conduct various building surveys, including condition surveys, schedules of condition, dilapidation surveys, and structural surveys, and prepare written reports. Manage expenditure within budget and in accordance with financial regulations. Ensure building work complies with Health and Safety regulations. Manage performance to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. Prepare detailed programs of works and ensure value for money services.
