Duties
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and consistency.
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods.
* Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
* Participate in regular cleaning schedules and maintain equipment in good working order.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary environment.
* Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
