Business Development & Commerical Manager – Home Care Sector

* Location: York-based, with regular travel to Easingwold, Thirsk, Northallerton, and surrounding areas
* Salary: £40,000 + performance-based incentives
* Contract: Full Time, Permanent (Part Time Considered)

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will lead business development initiatives and create commercial relationships for our well-established premium home care service. Your goal is to build meaningful community partnerships and promote our range of services to create meaningful growth in the business.

The role requires someone with a commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate data-driven insights into effective marketing, PR, and growth strategies.

What You'll Be Doing

Growing Existing Services – Implement innovative marketing and networking strategies to expand our core home care, live-in care and day centre services.

Marketing & PR – Build brand awareness through online and offline campaigns, social media, and community engagement, generating reliable referral sources.

Data & Performance Analysis – Monitor and evaluate marketing activities, ensuring the best return on investment (ROI) and refining strategies accordingly.

Financial & Strategy Planning – Use business and performance data to inform decision-making and create targeted marketing plans.

Stakeholder Engagement – Build strong relationships with prospective clients, community organisations, and healthcare professionals that generate commercially viable referral networks

Leadership – Lead and support a small business development team while working closely with operational managers to align growth with service capacity.
