The Role
As a Mixed Tax Manager/Senior Manager, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will oversee compliance, provide advisory support, and identify planning opportunities, while managing and developing a team of tax professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing annual tax return compliance for companies and individuals.
* Providing advice on corporate tax planning, tax-efficient remuneration, succession planning, CGT, and benefits in kind.
* Identifying and advising on other relevant taxes, including VAT, International Taxes, LBTT, and Stamp Duty.
* Delegating work effectively and reviewing outputs to ensure quality and accuracy.
* Coordinating compliance across multiple teams and locations, ensuring seamless client service.
* Preparing proposals for new clients, including quoting and onboarding.
* Engaging with client networks and internal teams to deliver comprehensive service solutions.
* Contributing to thought leadership through blogs, technical articles, and presentations.
About You
* Professionally qualified (CA, ATT, CTA) with relevant tax experience.
* Proven track record in both compliance and advisory work.
* Experience managing a team and overseeing a client portfolio.
* Strong client engagement skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Familiarity with Alphatax and CCH.
* Confident, proactive, and able to provide strategic tax advice.
