Your Role
As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in shaping our commercial strategy, protecting profitability, and driving performance across key customer accounts. Acting as a trusted advisor to commercial leaders, you will provide financial insight, challenge, and governance to support decision-making in the business.
What You'll Do:
* Lead the financial aspects of the tender process, providing strategic insight and shaping the commercial story for negotiations to maximize customer profitability.
* Support the commercial team in ensuring contract setups protect MMI EBIT and are implemented correctly.
* Ensure compliance with the GO process.
* Take overall financial responsibility for accurate customer pricing.
* Act as a business partner to the Business Unit Head, providing financial insight on volumes, revenue, and margins.
* Coordinate the budget and forecasting process for key accounts, providing insights into drivers of change.
* Report on commercial monthly performance, highlighting key drivers of change versus budget/forecast.
* Communicate month-end results to Commercial Teams and Business Unit Heads, translating financial information into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
* Collaborate with other finance business partners to enhance team collaboration and contribute to business support development plans.
* Build relationships with the wider controlling team to improve ways of working and share knowledge.
What You'll Bring:
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
* Ideally experienced with SAP
* Experience in an FMCG environment is preferable; comfortable in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities.
* Strong influencing skills and commercial acumen.
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
* A proactive and "can do" attitude.
* Strong problem-solving, logical, numeric, Excel, and analytical skills.
* Tenacious and resilient.
