Position
Applications are invited for the post of Infertility Counsellor/Therapist within the Assisted Conception Unit at Ninewells Hospital.
Job Summary
The successful applicant will work as part of a small team to deliver a comprehensive counselling service for Infertility patients in the Assisted Conception Unit at Ninewells Hospital. The post holder must be an experienced counsellor who has worked or is working in a healthcare environment, be an excellent communicator, have a degree-level education, and be a qualified counsellor with experience of supporting patients.
Qualifications
* Degree level education.
* Qualified counsellor with experience supporting patients.
* Held a counselling qualification and be registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
* Willingness to undertake training and work towards registration with the British Infertility Counselling Association.
Hours
18 hours per week – to be discussed at interview, but between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
