Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Buyer on a 12-month contract, based in Inverness. 4 days per week on site, 1 day a week remote working. Role Summary Manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Focused on execution of standard enabling activities/provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline. There may be some latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing situations. Responsibilities * Place and follow-up on PO’s.
