Join the John Lewis Profit Protection team to enhance efficiency and profitability by mitigating harm to Partners and Customers and managing shrinkage. Responsibilities include managing conflict, apprehending those involved in retail crime, and coaching Partners on shrinkage and crime awareness. You will also take responsibility for self-development, engage in department activities and act as an ambassador for the John Lewis & Partners brand.
Due to its nature, you need to be 18-years or older to work in this role. You’ll work on a rota basis and will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
You will receive full and comprehensive training in the first few weeks of starting in this role.
Sunday working hours are 10:30-17:30, with a 30 minute break.
As a Loss Prevention Partner within the Profit Protection team, your day will be varied but day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Mitigate the risk of malicious harm to Partners and Customers.
Support and coach fellow Partners on how to minimise shrinkage and complete procedures correctly to protect our profits.
Analyse shrinkage data to identify discrepancies and areas for process improvements.
Full training will be provided).
Build and maintain strong working relationships with local law enforcement and crime prevention partners.
Able to shift priorities at pace.
