A privately-owned property investmentpany are looking for a property/asset management surveyor to join their team in North Leeds. Your new business has substantial assets under management throughout the Yorkshire region. Their portfolio includes office, industrial, retail, and residential properties. As part of their future plans, they aremitted to growing the portfolio through new acquisitions and the redevelopment and repurposing of existing stock.
Your new role
Thepany is seeking a Chartered Surveyor to join their small, dynamic team. This hands-on role involves managing your own allocation of properties and would suit someone with experience in a similar client-side role or a strong track record in property management looking to advance into asset and development management.Key Responsibilities:
1. Handling lease renewals and rent reviews.
2. Marketing vacant spaces and securing new lettings.
3. Managing development and refurbishment projects, including budgeting and ensuring timely delivery.
4. Overseeing routine and planned maintenance, repairs, inspections, and contractor management.
5. Ensuring Health and Safetypliance across your portfolio.
6. Sourcing property acquisition opportunities and conducting due diligence.
7. Conducting development appraisals and evaluating potential new acquisitions.
8. Identifying and delivering asset management and redevelopment initiatives.
9. Managing tenant applications and liaising with tenants.
10. Coordinating with external resources, including surveyors, contractors, and residential managing agents.
What you'll need to succeed
11. MRICS Qualification.
12. Strong project management capabilities.
13. High levels of self-initiative and time management.
14. Knowledge of Argus Developer is an advantage.
15. Full UK Driving Licence.
