Job Description Job Description: A well-established food manufacturing business is looking to recruit a QA Assistant to join their Technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous food manufacturing or quality experience who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced production environment. You will play a key role in ensuring products consistently meet customer specifications, food safety standards, and company quality procedures. Key Responsibilities Carrying out routine quality assurance and quality control checks Completing daily QA records, documentation, and temperature monitoring Conducting product testing and inspections Ensuring products, labelling, and packaging meet required specifications Monitoring hygiene standards and supporting HACCP compliance Logging non-conformances and supporting corrective actions Maintaining the QA laboratory and ensuring equipment is calibrated Supporting internal audits and ensuring the site remains audit ready Working closely with Production, Technical, and Management teams About You Previous experience within food manufacturing, QA, QC, or Technical roles preferred Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP principles Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Confident completing documentation accurately Positive and proactive approach to quality standards What’s on Offer Opportunity to join a growing and supportive business Career development within Technical and Quality functions Training and ongoing support provided Fast-paced and collaborative working environment
