Overview
We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in the North West.
Responsibilities
* Oversee a caseload of up to seven partner schools, manage the logistics and organisation of each school's tutoring programme, work closely with schools and pupils, and manage the pool of volunteer tutors. Attend weekly tutoring sessions at each school and oversee the quality of face-to-face and online tutoring to deliver a great impact.
* Support the recruitment of volunteer tutors, manage the tutor sign-up process, develop relationships with schools (including Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers), collect data for monitoring and evaluation, and collaborate with other internal teams on business development opportunities. Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring"s tutoring programmes in partner schools, online or face-to-face, including managing all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; regularly attending weekly tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery using data to assess performance.
* Oversee the quality of tutoring, participate in quality assurance processes, provide feedback to volunteer tutors, and ensure effective and impactful delivery. Provide regular check-ins with tutors to ensure support and guidance for targeted tuition to pupils.
* Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including Senior Leadership Team members and subject teachers. Maintain clear and timely communication with school staff, offer regular check-ins with key stakeholders, and contribute to impact reporting. Support the Programme Manager with strategies to retain and sustain school partnerships.
* Update and accurately maintain Action Tutoring's database, collect data for monitoring and evaluation (e.g., attendance records, baseline/interim assessments, pupil surveys), report on key performance indicators to stakeholders, and use them to enhance programme delivery. Work with the Programme Manager on business development and approach new schools.
* Proactively report to the Programme Manager on the details of Action Tutoring's operations in partner schools.
Requirements and attributes
* Right to work in the UK.
* Driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
* Ability to work independently and with initiative, often organising your own time to meet deadlines.
* Strong aptitude for developing relationships with a range of stakeholders and maintaining high standards of communication, adapting your style for different audiences.
* Adaptability, resilience, and the ability to cope with some uncertainty.
* Experience in education or charity sectors is advantageous; experience working with young people and/or project management in a charity or education setting is an asset.

* Experience with working in partnership schools as a sole representative, and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
