About the Role
Our Regional Account Managers are instrumental in delivering an excellent customer experience and helping our customers realise the full benefits of Safetykleen’s products and services. You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of high‑value, multi‑site National Key Accounts. This is a national field‑based role with travel aligned to customer needs, so you’ll need flexibility for some mid‑week overnight stays.
Responsibilities
* Own multi‑site strategic accounts – manage high‑value, multi‑location customers so their needs are anticipated, service is consistent across sites, retention is strong and partnerships are long term.
* Grow revenue and value – build and execute account strategies that grow profitable revenue, drive upsell and cross‑sell, and position Safetykleen as the partner of choice.
* Build senior stakeholder relationships – develop trusted relationships with director‑level and senior decision‑makers, present tailored, value‑led solutions and secure long‑term contracts and extensions.
* Lead tenders, frameworks and the sales cycle – partner with internal teams to shape commercially sound framework agreements and take full ownership of the sales process for your accounts.
* Own results – consistently aim to meet and exceed sales targets, using account performance data and insight to refine your approach and unlock new growth opportunities.
About You
* Proactive, structured approach – you know your customers, manage your pipeline with discipline and always understand where you are against target.
* Resilience and calm under pressure – you’re comfortable working towards stretching targets, staying positive, solution‑focused and commercially aware when challenges arise.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, including some mid‑week overnight stays.
* Field‑based B2B account manager experience, enjoying customer interaction, growing high‑value accounts and turning senior relationships into long‑term, profitable partnerships.
* Confidence operating with senior stakeholders, able to talk numbers, value and outcomes with director‑level decision‑makers.
* Experience with tenders or framework agreements is a strong advantage.
