We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established precision engineering business based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to work on large-scale components in a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities of a CNC Turner:
* Setting and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components
* Machining parts up to 10–12 metres in length
* Working with Fanuc and Fagor control systems
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
* Safely operating overhead cranes for handling large components
* Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety
Requirements of a CNC Turner:
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner
* Strong knowledge of Fanuc and/or Fagor controls
* Experience machining large components (preferred)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Overhead crane experience is essential
* Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Working Hours:
Operating a 3 shift system (40 hours per week):
Optional hours of the below:
* 06:00 – 14:30
* 07:30 – 16:00
* 14:00 – 22:00
Pay:
* Starting from £16.50 per hour
* Higher rates available depending on experience
