Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) – Take Commercial Control We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to step into a key commercial leadership role within a thriving regional civils business, driving performance across a large civils framework. A large highways project starting soon. It's complex, and high-impact. You’ll be front and centre, shaping delivery from the outset. As SQS, you’ll take full commercial ownership across the framework — from early engagement through to final account: * Lead commercial delivery of highways schemes to maximise profitability and performance * Own budgets, forecasting, CVRs, and cash flow with confidence and accuracy * Take charge of NEC contract management – early warnings, compensation events, change control * Procure and manage subcontractors within a true self-delivery environment * Drive value engineering and efficiency across projects and the wider framework * Be the go-to commercial lead for the client, building strong, trusted relationships * Mentor and support junior team members * Work side-by-side with delivery teams to align commercial strategy with site performance This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where your decisions directly impact how projects succeed.
