We’re looking for a Mechanical Estimator with strong experience in mechanical piping, sheet metal, and metal fabrication to supportplex industrial,mercial, and institutional projects.
About the RoleIn this key position, you will review engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare detailed, accurate estimates for mechanical systems. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to ensure bids arepetitive, technically sound, and aligned with project requirements. Your insights will help identify risks, cost‑saving opportunities, and value‑engineering options.

Key Responsibilities
5. Develop precise cost estimates for mechanical piping, HVAC, sheet metal, and custom fabrication scopes
6. Interpret drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to determine project scope
7. Preparepetitive bids, RFQs, and proposal packages
8. Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain material, fabrication, and service pricing
9. Identify constructability considerations and cost‑saving alternatives
10. Maintain detailed estimating records, pricing templates, and cost histories
11. Engage with clients to clarify project details and build strong working relationships
12. Coordinate with internal engineering, sales, and project delivery teams to ensure seamless hand-off
Qualifications
13. 3+ years of estimating experience in mechanical construction, piping, HVAC, sheet metal, or metal fabrication
14. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical specifications
15. Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; estimating software experience preferred
17. Knowledge of fabrication processes, mechanical systems, materials, and industry standards
18. Excellentmunication and relationship‑building skills
19. Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
