The CFCD CBRS Grade 7 (G7) leads the Directorate’s approach to ensuring compliance with Security, Data, and Information requirements. This role involves managing responses to Briefings, FOIs, and other departmental requests through a Briefing Hatch function, identifying and mitigating key risks, and maintaining effective controls to keep CFCD secure.
As a team leader, collaborating closely with your team is essential.
The G7 leads the team to deliver core functions including:
* Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and mitigate CFCD Risks, aligning with the DWP Risk Management Framework, and providing narratives for the CFCD Business areas that feed into the DWP Services and Fraud Risk Plan.
* Reporting on risks and mitigation activities to inform the Performance Risk and Deployment Board and the executive team (ET).
* Integrating risk awareness into routine business activities.
* Working with fraud, error, and debt (FED) Policy and CFCD Functional areas to respond to inquiries via the CFCD Briefing Hatch, ensuring timely responses.
* Evolving the Briefing Hatch function to meet increasing FOI requests and changing briefing requirements.
* Collaborating with DWP Security and Information Management to ensure compliance, manage risks, and develop improvement plans.
* Delivering awareness programs on Security, Data, and Information to promote compliance.
* Developing and managing the CFCD Business Continuity Plan within the DWP framework.
* Coordinating activities to ensure Business Continuity Plans are in place and tested across CFCD.
* Supporting and maintaining access to portals and establishing new processes as needed.
* Supporting the DWP ID Badging Process to assist colleagues requiring identification when visiting customers.
Note: Due to the geographically dispersed team, frequent travel and overnight stays are required.
