The group operates as the UK’s largest end-to-end drainage solution provider with depots across the UK to ensure around-the-clock coverage.
Location: Millbrook, Southampton
Salary: Up to £55,000
Hours: 07:00 – 17:00 (47.5 hours)
Responsibilities
* Conduct mechanical inspections and diagnostic tests on mobile vehicles
* Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other components
* Identify and repair or replace faulty parts and systems on mobile vehicles
* Provide customers with accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services
* Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs and recommendations
* Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while working on mobile vehicles
* Keep abreast of industry developments and changes in vehicle technology
* Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and parts needed for mobile repairs
Qualifications
* Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automotive issues on various makes and models
* Own set of tools and equipment for the job
* A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach job sites
* Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
* Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
* Relevant certification or degree in automotive technology is a plus
