Daily Duties:
6. Lead architectural projects from initial concept through to completion and handover
7. Design and detail bespoke residential adaptations and new builds with a focus on accessibility
8. Collaborate with clients, consultants, local authorities, and other stakeholders
9. Travel nationally to attend site visits, meetings, and inspections
10. Produce accurate technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and NBS
11. Provide input on planning applications and building regulations compliance
12. Support contract administration duties as needed
13. Work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
Ideal Candidate:
14. A qualified Architect or experienced Architectural Technologist
15. Strong design skills with an eye for detail and creative problem-solving abilities
16. Practical experience in residential design and construction
17. In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations and Accessible Design principles
18. Proficient in AutoCAD; NBS specification experience is desirable
19. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise confidently with diverse stakeholders
20. Ability to manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
21. Previous experience with disability-focused design is advantageous but not essential
22. Must hold a valid UK driving licence and be willing to travel nationally
23. Willingness to undergo a DBS check
