Key Responsibilities
As a Band 5 General Radiographer, your responsibilities will include:
* Performing a wide range of general radiography imaging procedures with accuracy and professionalism.
* Operating and maintaining radiography equipment in line with safety standards and departmental protocols.
* Working collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and the wider multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient care.
* Producing high-quality diagnostic images and contributing to accurate and timely reporting processes.
* Providing compassionate, patient-centred care throughout the imaging pathway.
* Ensuring compliance with IR(ME)R, health and safety regulations, and local policies.
* Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality assurance and service improvement initiatives.
Person Specification
Essential:
* HCPC registration.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Band 5 General Radiographer.
* Strong technical skills and sound knowledge of general radiography procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
* Full UK driving licence to support travel between sites.
* Experience working across multiple clinical settings.
