Here at UPP, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Front of House Assistant to join our team.
The Front of House Assistant will be responsible for operating the Reception Desk and a computerized system that controls real-time helpdesk monitoring for reactive and planned maintenance work.
This is a permanent, part-time position working 30 hours per week from 12:00pm to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is £19,874 per annum.
Role responsibilities include:
* Providing an excellent and comprehensive reception service to residents and offices; keeping records of all visitors, contractors, and issuing keys when required.
* Assisting relevant managers in coordinating on-site activities and daily administration, including completing regular reports.
* Conducting regular walks of the residence and grounds, monitoring and reporting any security or safety issues to the relevant manager.
* Monitoring student conduct, encouraging reasonable and fair behavior, and reporting any breaches of the Code of Conduct and license agreement.
* Managing out-of-hours access to the residence, ensuring compliance with fire, health & safety procedures, and residence instructions.
* Liaising as necessary with other UPP staff, university clients, subcontractors, residents, and conference delegates.

We are looking for:
Candidates with experience in a similar role and environment, with excellent communication and organization skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude to deliver excellent service.
You should be flexible to work additional hours with notice, especially during main student arrival and departure weekends.
Offers of employment are subject to satisfactory vetting, including employment references covering the past three years, and may include additional checks such as a basic DBS.
