Production Technician | Didcot - £30,000 + BenefitsA fast-paced, well-established manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on Production Technician to join their team in Didcot to support production, troubleshoot issues on the line and help keep manufacturing running efficiently day-to-day.Looking for somebody with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to get involved. The role would suit somebody from a manufacturing, assembly, production or electromechanical background who enjoys practical problem solving and working closely with people on the shop floor.As a Production Technician, you will:Supporting day-to-day production activitiesInvestigating and resolving manufacturing issuesAssembly, wiring and testing workWorking from drawings and work instructionsSupporting quality and process improvementsWorking closely with production and engineering teams.Skills required from the Production Technician:Manufacturing or production environment experienceAssembly or electromechanical work experienceSoldering, wiring or crimping skillsTesting, rework or troubleshooting skillsWorking from technical drawings/instructionsThe company are very open to training and developing the right person, so this does not need to be a fully formed plug-and-play technician. Attitude, adaptability and willingness to learn are just as important as technical background.
