The Colleague Centre Advisor is responsible for providing expert HR and employee relations support across the business, ensuring company policies and procedures are applied consistently, fairly, and in line with legal requirements. The role manages a broad range of colleague matters end to end, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, long-term sickness, while supporting organisational change activity such as restructures and redundancies. The postholder also works closely with stakeholders to promote best practice, maintain accurate case management and administration, and contribute to a positive, compliant, and professional employee relations environment.

Candidate Match - What We Are Looking For
Experience/Qualifications/Licenses/Skills & Competencies
* A full five-year checkable employment history including a minimum of 2 work references, a personal credit check, right of work compliance
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR / People or office management role
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
* Working knowledge of current employment legislation
* Other appropriate professional qualifications
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including excel and word. Working knowledge of other HR management systems would be an advantage.
* Communicate effectively with team colleagues and partner with key stakeholders.
* Work effectively in a challenging environment & comfortable with change.
* Strong organisation, planning and time management skills with high diligence and an ability to plan and prioritise to meet timescales and deadlines.
* An adaptive person who can hit the ground running and motivated to drive their own personal development and willing to develop new skills and undertake responsibility.

Responsibilities

* Providing advice and guidance on company policy and procedures to all levels of the business
* End to end management of all Colleague Centre processes including disciplinary, grievance, 3rd party removal.
* End to end processing and ownership of LTS and absence management
* Work with key stakeholders and departments to ensure effective change management including consideration of legal implications e.g., restructure, redundancy.
* Promote a positive Employee Relations environment, developing and coaching stakeholders in delivering a legally compliant and consistent best practice approach.
