We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Practitioner to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage daily activities and foster positive relationships with both children and their families.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build trusting relationships.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and playtime.
* Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment that is conducive to learning.
* Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
* Collaborate with other childcare professionals to enhance the quality of care provided.
Qualifications
* Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles is preferred.
* Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports children's growth and development.
* A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their well-being.
