A successful and well-established business in the Construction Sector, based near Thurrock in Essex, is looking to hire a Bookkeeper to join them permanently. This is a sole charge role reporting to the Directors of the company and is office-based. Duties & Responsibilities Day-to-day transactions and reconciliations using Sage Line 50 Processing accounts payable and receivables Credit control Cash flow reporting/forecasting Profit and loss reporting Assist project managers with work in progress Weekly CIS returns Monthly payroll preparation to an outsourced payroll bureau Liaising with the external firm of Accountants as required Requirements: First-ratetransactionalskills Proven long-term experience in a similar sole charge role Strongreconciliationskills CIS returns Sage Line 50 Cash flow reporting/forecasting Benefits: Flexible 35-hour working week 25 days holiday This opportunity would suit an experienced bookkeeper who possesses excellent experience using Sage Line 50 and has worked in a sole charge capacity previously.
