PCB Design Engineer - Outside IR35 - Competitive Rate - 6 Months - Oxfordshire (Hybrid)Electric Propulsion | Aerospace | High-Power ElectronicsAn aerospace electrification company developing axial-flux motors and high-power motor controllers is urgently seeking a Contract PCB Design Engineer to support the next phase of development.You'll take ownership of high-density, multi-layer PCB layouts for safety-critical motor controller units, working closely with electronics and control engineers to move designs from concept through to fabrication release.The Contract6 months initial termOutside IR35 Competitive day rate Hybrid: 3 days onsite in Oxfordshire (flexible for the right contractor)What You'll Be DoingFull lifecycle PCB design (schematic capture layout fabrication outputs)High-density, multi-layer PCB layout (power + control electronics)Working on compact, high-current motor controller designsGenerating fabrication and assembly documentationEnsuring DFM/DFT and manufacturability complianceWhat We're Looking ForStrong Altium Designer experience (layout + libraries)Experience with high-power / high-current PCB designBackground in aerospace, automotive or industrial electronicsConfident working autonomously in a fast-paced engineering teamSolid understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes*This is an opportunity to contribute to next-generation electric propulsion systems in a fast-growing aerospace programme.
