As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the sales across secondary and primary care NHS sites in the Bath area, including
Cornwall and The Isles of Scilly ICB, Dorset ICB, Devon ICB, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire ICB, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire ICB.
What you will do:
Achieve annual sales commitments including meter placement, strip market share and strip sales volume.
Lead in-territory efforts to partner with targeted NHS accounts (i.e. CCGs, Health Boards, Trusts) and develop strong local professional relationships.
Leverage formulary situation to drive usage and recommendation of the Ascensia brands in the allocated accounts, establish an effective account coverage plan and execute it.
Create a meter placement plan for the allocated accounts, track and manage usage in line with this plan.
Drive tender/formulary requests and coordinates implementation.
Execute against all marketing initiatives to support the usage and recommendation of the Ascensia.
Skills you will Need:
University degree or its equivalent level qualification preferably in science, nursing, marketing or business.
Knowledge of the selling process in the healthcare industry - Diabetes, Medical Devices, Pharma, Diagnostics - preferred.
Demonstrable experience as a successful account manager or equivalent. Thorough and up to date knowledge of industry and other appropriate guidelines is preferable.
Travel within the UK, driving license required.
