Role responsibilities
We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Reporting Analyst to join our Business Planning and Corporate Reporting team, which is a part of the Finance, Governance and Corporate Services Directorate. The postholder will contribute to two key business areas; corporate business reporting and delivery of the business data strategy.
Responsibilities to include but are not limited to the following.
1. Ensuring key business-wide reports are delivered to agreed timescales and providing support and advice on business reporting to the wider organisation
2. Reviewing business-wide reports to make sure they contribute to business improvement by highlighting successes and areas requiring intervention
3. Using clear explanations for technical concepts and data discoveries, showing postholder is an advocate of data for all
4. Assisting wider organisation to ensure data accuracy and ease of access to data
Who we’re looking for
5. Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Excel, Adobe, Word and PowerPoint
6. A qualification in Data Analytics or other relevant subject or significant experience in this field
7. Excellent numeric, analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Excellent formal writing style, showing attention to detail
9. Ability to work alone or as part of a team
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
