Nursery Practitioner – Preston
Humly is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner to join a primary school on a long-term basis.
This is a full-time role starting 13/04/2026 and continuing until 17/07/2026. This role would suit a qualified and experienced early years practitioner who is confident working across different nursery age groups and enjoys a hands-on, play-based approach to learning.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting children’s learning and development through play-based activities
* Working across baby, toddler, and pre-school rooms as required
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children
* Assisting with daily routines including feeding, changing, and outdoor play
* Observing and recording children’s progress in line with EYFS standards
* Collaborating with nursery staff to deliver high-quality childcare
What You’ll Bring
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or strong Level 2 with significant experience)
* Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
* Confidence supporting children across different age groups
* A proactive, flexible, and hands-on approach to childcare
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Pay
£14.26 per hour

Enhanced DBS required
