Overview
We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join Vistry North Midlands, with a registered office in Castle Donington, supporting multiple sales outlets across the region. You will work with the sales teams across sites to meet agreed sales targets and objectives through effective management of people and activities in line with the Customer Journey. Motivate and support teams to perform to the best of their ability and achieve KPI targets. We support flexible working where possible; please discuss any requirements during the interview process.
Responsibilities
* Train, motivate and lead the on-site sales teams on sites within your responsibility to achieve agreed KPI’s, including sales rates and 5* customer service.
* Ensure sales are negotiated to required rates, achieving maximum revenue with minimal incentives.
* Supervise progress of existing sales and part exchanges to achieve target exchanges and legal completions, monitoring monthly forecast and communicating risks to stakeholders.
* Maintain knowledge of local market and competitors; make recommendations to marketing activity to drive enquiries.
* Oversee the operation of marketing suites, including H&S, site presentation and staffing.
* Provide market research information to agree sales volume and prices.
* Plan plot releases with other departments to ensure optimal mix and unit availability; resolve customer or plot issues promptly.
* Attend internal and external meetings and complete relevant reports.
* Develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods to optimise service, growth and satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with H&S and mandatory training; observe Vistry SOPs and H&S policies.
* Support continuous drive to deliver excellent customer service by advocating the customer journey and exceeding expectations.
* Follow the ICQ values in all activities.
* Assist with internal or external audits as required in line with Vistry values of ICQ.
Qualifications

* Previous experience in sales management for a volume house builder.
* Experience of managing a team.
* Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders across different disciplines.
* Excellent IT skills with proficiency in MS Office.
* Understanding of the sales and legal process.
* Strong attention to detail; excellent organisational skills; ability to produce accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
* Business and commercial awareness.
* Full UK Driving Licence with willingness to travel to all marketing suites including regional office within the division.
* Able to communicate effectively at all levels and work both as part of a team and independently when required.
* Confident when dealing with challenging customers.
* Ability to maintain effective communication between Sales Management and Sales Consultants.
* Willing to work weekends as required by the business.
