SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Role
Leatherhead Area | 8:15am – 4:45pm | Monday to Friday
We are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in the Leatherhead area. This is a full-time position with an immediate start available.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students
* Assist with the delivery of personalised learning activities
* Support students with behavioural, emotional, and social needs
* Help create a positive, structured, and inclusive environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with SEN children or young people (preferred)
* A patient, caring, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to adapt to different student needs
* A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
