Location: Old Trafford, Manchester (5 mins from city centre)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:30 / 09:30–18:00.
Salary: £30,000
About the Role:
As a Senior Complaints Handler, you'll play a key role in managing customer concerns related to car finance. You'll be the first point of contact, helping to resolve issues quickly and professionally while ensuring the best possible experience for every customer.
As a Senior Complaints Specialist you will handle complex cases and engage with regulators and lenders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle inbound complaints via phone/email and ensure accurate logging
* Listen and respond to customers with empathy and professionalism
* Triage and escalate complaints appropriately within the business
* Keep customers updated throughout the resolution process
* Maintain records in line with FCA guidelines and internal policies
* Support the wider team with administrative tasks
What They're Looking For:
* Experience in customer service or complaints support (motor trade or finance background a bonus)
* Strong communicator with excellent listening skills
* Calm under pressure and resilient when dealing with difficult conversations
* Organised, detail-focused and eager to learn
* Basic understanding of FCA regulations (or keen to develop this)
