Head of Clinical Operations
eXroid – UK Wide
At eXroid, we exist to make a meaningful difference to patients' lives. Our clinically established, non-surgical treatment for haemorrhoids is delivered through specialist clinics across the UK — helping patients avoid surgery, long recovery times and unnecessary hospital stays.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an exceptional Head of Clinical Operations to lead and optimise our UK clinic network — someone driven by measurable impact, operational excellence and genuine compassion for patients.
This is a senior leadership role at the heart of our direct-to-consumer service.
The Role
You will take full ownership of the day-to-day operational delivery of our UK clinics — ensuring we maximise clinic capacity, optimise doctor and chaperone scheduling, and deliver strong commercial performance.
But this role goes beyond efficiency.
You will ensure every clinic runs in a way that reflects our values:
Impact – delivering measurable outcomes for patients and the business
Compassion – ensuring patients feel heard, supported and cared for at every touchpoint
From capacity planning and KPI reporting to clinic onboarding and CQC compliance, you will drive continuous improvement while protecting the quality and dignity of the patient experience.
You will also shape the future of our clinical operations strategy — developing forward plans, supporting service launches, improving systems and identifying new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead UK clinic capacity planning to achieve revenue and utilisation targets
Optimise doctor, clinic and chaperone scheduling to drive profitability
Own daily and monthly KPI reporting with clear, concise board-level insight
Develop and deliver the 12-month clinical operations activity plan
Manage onboarding, contracts and performance reviews of partner clinics
Ensure compliance with CQC and Quality Management System requirements
Maintain stock control, booking system integrity and operational data accuracy
Lead operational mobilisation of new services and service developments
Support complaints handling, incident investigation and corrective actions
About You
You are a confident clinical operations leader who combines commercial acumen with emotional intelligence.
You bring:
Experience in healthcare or clinical operations (desirable)
Strong commercial awareness and a track record of hitting performance targets
Exceptional planning and scheduling capability
Confidence managing contracted clinicians and external stakeholders
Data fluency and the ability to translate KPIs into action
Calm, compassionate patient communication skills
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
You thrive in a close, ambitious team environment and are motivated by building systems that deliver real, tangible impact — both financially and for the patients we serve.
If you are ready to lead a growing national clinical service where performance and compassion go hand in hand, we would love to hear from you.
