Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Senior Credit Controller to join a Consultancy Business located in North Bristol. For the right person, the client is offering a very competitive:
Up to £34,000 plus excellent benefits
Key duties include:
1. Oversee and manage your allocated customer ledger, taking a proactive approach in aged debt collection
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
3. Tend to and resolve incoming queries in a timely manner from both internal and external sources
4. Build on client relationships to gain thorough knowledge of individual payment agreements, undergoing routine reviews to ensure service is efficient
5. Identify and investigate unallocated finances, allocating appropriately where possible
6. Issue credit reports as required, contributing to management information
7. Escalating cases where necessary to the Credit Manager
8. Produce and submit monthly cashflow credit reports
9. Support the wider Credit Team day-to-day as well as in provision of cashflow reporting
10. Monthly updates to internal management on debt status
11. Oversee timely conduction of debt collection in the wider team
12. Other ad hoc tasks as required
Person Specification:
13. Proven track record of working in a similar role with high-level Credit knowledge
14. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships and communicate effectively
15. Professional telephone manner
16. Strong IT skills, including MS Excel
17. Organised and ability to prioritise
18. Team player
